• Most assignments will not take up much space unless they are video. However I would invest in a 128 gig thumb drive or an external disk for backup of your data.

• It depends on what kind of files you usually want to keep. But there’s always external hard drives were you can handle your back up. Remember that apple has Time Machine an APP that you only need to connect your external hard drive and it performs a full back up in case you need to restore or transfer your dat- and configuration files to other Mac
