You must have a standard faucet. To me this means the basic faucet with the threads on the OUTSIDE of the spout to ensure the quick connect adapter will screw on. You want a durable spout because you will be screwing and unscrewing the quick connect adapter to the spout. So avoid low quality standard faucets. You can find good standard faucets at Lowes, Home Depot etc. The cost for a good standard faucet will be about $60 to $100. (But Habitat for Humanity ReStore might have some at lower prices.). Ask sales people which standard faucet is the most durable and check customer reviews. (Side note: I saw one Youtuber had a quick connect adapter to the water inlet on the back, top of the washer. That seems to be a good idea since the hose can be difficult to screw on sometimes).
