You can use it to drain in the kitchen sink... However I would use a lint trap for the end of the hose (in my case because I have 2 dogs, I use 2) this would help to keep the lint from clogging up your pipes. I also use a fine mesh kitchen sink trapper just to catch anymore lint. Now I'm draining mines in the bathtub I just bought any extra 6 feet regular washing machine drain hose and insert the portable drain hose into the regular one and run it to the tub. My tub also has a hair catcher so because well you know girls we have lots of hair.. Muahhahhah.. Everyone once a month a poor 2 cups of Clorox down the kitchen sink and bath tub to eat away all of the grime, wait overnight and then flush it with hot water for about 5 minutes. This will help alot so you don't have to call a plumber for lint clogs or hair clogs... Hope this helps!!
