• You can wash with hot water. If you are using only 1 hose hook it up to the cold side and adjust the water temp by the faucet.

• My aunt has a Magic chef portable washing machine..bought it the same time as mine..2012...she washes with hot water and now black plastic components are coming out unto her clothes..i wash with warm water from the sink with water hookup and so far havent had a problem.. she wants to know where it coming from???
