A:AnswerThe unit will get condensation on the back wall. When the compressor is running, that condensation will freeze and turn into ice. Once the compressor cycles off, the ice will melt and drain.
A:AnswerThe unit should be defrosted when the ice/frost accumulation is approximately 1/4" thick. You would simply need to set the thermostat dial to "0" to defrost. Remove all contents from the freezer compartment. Leave the freezer door open to allow accumulated ice/frost to melt.
