You can use your electrical outlet, instead of your desktop. And it works.

Yes, the magic jack go can plug directly into the back of your internet router or laptop usb port.

If that tablet is a Windows Tablet, yes. All other tablets (ipad, amazon fire, or galaxy tab) do not support the device like this. You can look for the magicjack app for your device and use it through the app instead.
