I hooked up my FAX machine using a splitter so that I don't have to change the connections and it sends a FAX just like my old phone service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Why don't you just purchase fax software and send it from your PC? It works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used it a long time ago. It’ll depend on your internet speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I connected my fax to the Magic Jack using a DSL filter and it is working fine. I have the fax set to answer in 6 rings, and my answering machine set to 4 rings. I don’t fax often, but have been able to both send and receive using the shared line with no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can, but I would stronglyl suggest NOT buying a Magic Jack interface. Mine failed most of the time and so I actually missed an important fax. Their tech help suggests unplugging it from the power supply, phone, and ethernet cable and then repowering, but even that worked a minority of times. I asked the guy if he thought it normal practice for me to have to do that prrior to each use. He did not have an answer. Also, note the two words on the currently packaging: they know they were selling a piece of garbage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been told it will not work with a fax machine
