If I buy magic jack plus I need to first install it on my. Laptop in order to get the number? Right? Then I am leaving for Europe what is need to be done in order so I can make phone calls? Just plug it in the modem? How I can use in on my iPhone 6?

I use Magic Jack for almost 10 years and this is happening just now (September 2017). Definitely do not prepay more than $10 to check charges. Actually you can take MJ device with you to Spain and plug it to USB in your laptop to make calls but again, check international calls rates twice before you make them. Do not trust rates published on their website.

You need to have WIFI connection. I turned off my DATA so not to incur roaming charges on my cell phone.. Just recently someone was calling my magic jack number thinking they were calling me at home but I was in a motel in St John, NB Canada. To call other US travelers they must have an international plan on their phone or they must have a magic jack app and phone number

Sometimes your connection is not as good as you might think. Other times it works great and beats paying roaming etc. on your cell phone. I have used it in Canada, Mexico, France and England. I had no luck in Caribbean countries though.

As long as you have the internet, you magic jack works like you are home it does not matter where you are at. I have been using magicjack over 10 years and it works great.... any more question, please just let me know. I will tell you what i know about magic jack. thanks
