Yes, it is common from time to time. Compare what you are paying for a year, with what you would pay with say a cable company. Huge savings with MagicJack, but from time to time some issues. I would only use it on high speed cable internet access, NOT on DSL. I recently purchased a new corded / cordless phone from Best Buy, and the clarity now is A LOT better. Make sure your phone is NOT a cheapy, you get what you pay for. Also shut down your cable modem for a min or so, once a week, and that seems to keep calls A LOT clearer. And if you have a call that last 1 hour and 45 minutes, you will get cut off. Tested in different locations, ALWAYS disconnects you. With that said, I AM GETTING READY TO RENEW FOR ANOTHER YEAR, it is worth it!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve never had that problem. Maybe too close to other machinery or your phone is going bad?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I went to Ooma instead.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That may happen due to internet connectivity. Just restart router/modem if it happens too much. There is no permanent solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a better phone box. Try different one, the issue is the phone box, not the Magick. Good Luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device is just a piece of junk. Search the Internets for other (non-biased) reviews and you'll see it gets really low scores. Mine typically did not work and I bothered to ask their tech help... the only thing they offered was to disconnect all three cables (power, ethernet, and phone), wait, and then try again. That "answer" did not work. And, that answer is really crappy because you're supposed to (over and over) reset this thing? I bought an overpriced Ooma and could send faxes with it.
