Your analog line phone should work as is, you just have to pay the phone company for that line. MagicJack is a one year license, free when purchased, but can save more with the three year offer.

The phone line from the MJ is no different than the tradition one. Plug them both into the phone and all should work just the same. If you have one jack in the phone for both lines, you can merge them together with a splitter.
