“How well does this work compared to earlier versions? I got Magicjack when it first came out and required a computer to be on 24/7. Now I have voip service through spectrum, and I don’t necessarily wanna give up the number. I am considering this.Thoughts”

• Its working well, took a little time for Verizon to switch us over but no problems since. We don't need the computer on at all.

• I have owned a Magic Jack with no computer required since they hit the market. They have gotten better this is my 3rd one only because my last one got fried during a lightning storm. Can’t beat the price when compared other phone services. It’s woks great in my opinion and my gigabit speed internet probably helps as well.
