Manfrotto products have a full line of tripods, and I'm sure they have one that would be able to handle the weight of a telescope and give you the stability that you need. But where you may run into a problem is that Celestron and Meade Telescopes have a specifically made mounting system to mount their telescopes on to their tripods. Most camera tripods are designed to where if you look at the bottom of most cameras they have a quarter inch thread that the mating part on the top of a camera tripod screws into the bottom of that camera. So I would recommend if you buy a Celestron telescope most come with a tripod if not check with the Best Buy sales person and also look on to their website. I have a need to telescope that's rather large they came with the me tripod so for a Celestron I would check Celestron website. And some camera stores out of New York sell telescopes and they sell aftermarket tripods designed for telescopes that would be your best bet. But I would definitely start with the Best Buy website and talk to a sales person in the store.
