Yes it is compatible. It has a quick release mount and two sizes of tripod/camera screws so no matter the hole in the bottom of your camera it will fit.

Please try again later.Yes I have a Panasonic Handycam video camera and like still cameras most all of them have a quarter inch threaded hole on the bottom that will Mount to almost any tripod made in the last 70 years. My Panasonic Handycam is 2 years old and I use it on my 38 year old star D tripod, because the industry did one thing that was fantastic everything has a quarter inch thread on the bottom of the camera and every tripod has the quarter inch screw on the top of it.
