• It will support the weight but it’s not the most sturdy tripod. It doesn’t work very well for panning either.

• the camera body is 1.8lbs and the microphone is extremely light so yes the tripod will hold up to 3.3 lbs total. I would how ever suggest a more robust tripod such as the MKCOMPACTADV-BK or the 290 with video head. Then you will be prepared as you grow with the camera.
