QuestionCan it fit a dslr with 70-300 lens?

- Answer Yes, I have the lens attached and it fits snugly in the bag and still have room for the 55mm lens. It came with additional Velcro padding so you can arrange the bag the best way for your equipment

- Answer Most probably not. A small bezel 14" laptop may fit the front side but really it doesn't really offer protection. The back pocket is designed for a 9.7" or smaller tablet.
