“How can I hook a subwoofer to separate zone(s)? Do I need a stereo amp for each zone? If I use the preamp outs, can I add additional zones on top of the 2 built-in? I am having a hard time visualizing the setup options for 2, 3, or 4 zones. Thanks”

Hello, the best option is to add HEOS speakers. This will provide a wireless option. The HEOS app allows for control via a smart phone/device and provides up to 32 zones. The wireless DSW-1H subwoofer can be added to individual zones. The Marantz SR5015 has HEOS built-in.
