Hello, using HDMI control, the Cinema 50 and most receivers will receive commands from the connected Television for power and volume. The provided remote control is not a learning remote. Once set, settings in the receiver will not change automatically. One must go into the receiver's settings to make any additional changes. An app may also control the receiver.
