Hello, the Marantz Cinema 50 has 9 channels of amplification and 11.4 channels of processing. The 11 speaker terminals provide flexibility with different speaker layouts available today, like Atmos or Auro-3D. Pre-outputs are also available for connecting external amplification, allowing you to connect 11 speakers—9 to the receiver and an additional 2 using the pre-output allowing for a 7.4.4 Atmos speaker setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought a cheap aiyima 2 channel headphone amp. Really tiny simple amp and run my rear height channel with it. It processes the front and rear height channels (11.2.4) but only has amp for 1 of the heights. Thus its advertised as a 9.2.4.
