- Answer Hello. I wouldn't say it was necessary. Not all AVRs have the required pre-outs for the PM6007 to be a potential addition. With some AVRs, the PM6007 has the ability to take some of the workload off the amplifier stage of the AVR.

- Answer Hello, 220v and 120v units are available depending on the region in which it is purchased. For example, 120v units are sold in North America.
