“I recently purchased a Marantz 6015 receiver and wish to set it up so that I can have zone 2 operate two sets of speakers. I was told when it was bought that this was possible can't find the option for this to function. Is it possible to do this?”

Each zone can be assigned in the 'speaker configuration' section of the setup menu. Just remember for every speaker added takes watts away from the rest. It's best to use the preouts to an external amplifier, for the LCR speakers, and let the AVR power the surround channels.

Run up to 7.2 channels in your main system and power 2 more speakers in another room for zone 2.
