We probably won't know for sure until closer to the launch of the game, either through leaks or the game itself. Nintendo has said that some of the staff that worked on the series at AlphaDream are involved, but they haven't named the studio that developed the game yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Update: The game was co-developed between Nintendo and another Japanese company, Acquire. They were involved in development of both Octopath Traveler games for Square Enix, so they definitely have RPG experience.

Please try again later.Nintendo hasn't said who, they did however say that they salvaged some key developers that were from the alpha dream team to ensure the quality and standard of the Mario and Luigi series stays in tact. And I think the trailers showcase that very well.
