As long as the device (phone, computer, TV) is able to connect to the Emberton III with Bluetooth, you will be able to stream the audio to the speaker. A higher SPL rating means a speaker can produce a louder sound for a given input power. This being said, the Emberton III has an SPL rating of 90 dB SPL @ 1 m.
