I bought this speaker on a open box sale. The model appears to have been available for some time.

Hello, thank you for your question. You will need to check with Best Buy staff for their policy, but our understanding is that items will come in a sealed, brand new packaging and these are brand new items. Open-box items may be different, but they should be clearly marked.
