• A:Answer The Tufton is not a Multi-Room speaker, it is a Bluetooth speaker that also offers 3.5mm auxiliary connectivity. Wi-Fi connectivity is required for the Multi-Room speakers.

Q: QuestionHow do I clear the Bluetooth list on this device? A neighbor or someone has paired to it and every time I power on the Tufton someone else’s music is playing. There doesn’t appear to be any articles that address this simple fact.

• A:Answer Hello, a factory reset should remove any other devices that are connected to the speaker. To complete a factory reset: Plug the speaker into a working electrical outlet; Turn the speaker off by turning the volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click; Wait 15 seconds, then turn the speaker on again; Push and hold the Bluetooth button for 6-8 seconds to reset the speaker to default settings; Remove the Tufton from your sound device’s Bluetooth list before pairing again

Q: QuestionCan the main driver in the Tufton unit be replaced? I believe I may have blown it out.

• A:Answer The Tufton speaker is a stand-alone, independent speaker that cannot be used in pairs. The only Marshall Speakers that can be used in pairs to create stereo sound are the Acton II Bluetooth, Stanmore II Bluetooth or the Woburn II Bluetooth.

Q: QuestionWhy does it constantly disconnect and reconnect?

• A:Answer The Tufton supports Multi-host which is a Dual Device feature, meaning 2 devices can be actively connected to the speaker at one time. This has a couple of different applications that may have caught your attention: If Device1 is actively playing music, and Device2 receives a notification or plays music, it will become the active playback device on the speaker. If Device2 has different audio settings, you may notice the audio playback change, reflective of Device2's volume and EQ settings. If Device1 is actively playing music and loses the Bluetooth connection (either because of Bluetooth range, or Bluetooth interference), your speaker will automatically connect to an alternate device that is in range (and has been paired previously). When this occurs, you will hear an audio notification, indicating the Bluetooth disconnection from Device1 and if the second device is in range, an audio notification for the connection to Device2. To avoid either of the situations above, you can simply disable Bluetooth on Device2, or "Forget" the speaker from Device2's Bluetooth menu.
