Q: QuestionThis refrigerator cannot be adjusted so that the doors shut all the way. What’s up with that? Also, the tray under the first shelf falls out if you pull it out too far (about halfway out). Can that be fixed? Just got this refrigerator four days ago.

Q: QuestionWhat water line kit or connectors do I need for the ice maker model ECKMF95 and where do I get it? I just purchased this refrigerator and bought the ice maker from another retailer since I couldn't find the optional ice maker on the site.

• A:Answer Hi Tom. When buying the ice maker, ECKMF95, it should have come with the entire kit for the installation including the water valve and tubing. Unfortunately, they do no have separate part numbers since they are to be included with the Ice Maker. We hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWhat is the wattage rating for model MRT311FFFZ Maytag refrigerator? I am looking at getting a backup power generator to keep the fridge running during power outages. Google says most refrigerators are in the 250 watt range.

Q: QuestionMy refrigerator which is only 2yrs old make alot of noise. Had a tech come out and said it was from the evaporator inlet tube. He said the noise was normal but tried to bend it to reduce the sound. That made it louder. Should it make that much noise?

Q: QuestionJust bought this one yesterday. Love everything about it except the loud humming noise. It is a lot louder than any fridge I’ve ever owned. It did not make that loud sound on the first day. Is it normal? It is so loud that it is a disturbance.

These compressors are designed to run 80 % to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy used when the compressor cycles on.
