“Is there a light indicating that the washer is running and if so does it show a different color when cycle is completed?”

That was a good question. There is a green light on the front of the door that illuminates during the wash cycle. It goes out at the end of the cycle and the LCD on top edge of the door displays the word clean, until the door is opened and closed for the first time after the cycle.

"On models with top controls, an indicator light on the front of the door panel will glow green when a cycle is running and turns off when the cycle is complete."
