A:AnswerIt has a chopper instead of a filter. As I've posted in my review, the chopper is more convenient, more sanitary in my view (in case one forgets to clean the filter regularly), and fairly quiet; we hardly hear the dishwasher when it runs.
A:AnswerI don't know much about condensate exhaust grills; however, I can say that I am unhappy with the amount of condensation on the door after the drying cycle has completed. I haven't seen any other customers talk about the issue under this model number; however, there are complaints under the sister product (Model: MDB4949SDZSKU: 5608602). I am further disappointed that you can't run the dry function alone, nor can you run rinse and heated dry. You have to choose the quick cycle to get access to the drying cycle.
I would not buy this product again. Indeed, I'm currently shopping to see if I can find a return and exchange option.
