How does the delay start work? I don't see a button for it. null

I couldn't understand why it would note in the specifications that it had a delay, if it didn't. In better light, I was able to read the fine print under the Sani Rinse button that says 4 hour delay, hold the button for 3 seconds. It worked! So this model does have a delay start! Just a little confusing that it doesn't have a separate button like my previous dishwashers.

I have the same thing. When I push and hold the button for 3 seconds it shows -.-- on the screen. did you do anything other than push and hold the button for 3 seconds or did you have to do something else. Also what did the panel show after you held the button for 3 seconds?

Hi Karraz, for this Maytag - 24" Front Control Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub, Dual Power Filtration there are several models, one of which does not feature the Delay button. We would recommend checking the control panel, left side to see if your unit has this option. Thank you for your question!
