“My machine that just broke had a gentile cycle on it which was used occasionally with China. Has anyone washed more delicate dishware in this machine and if so what setting is used? Or can this not be done in this machine”

This machine does not have a gentile cycle. It does have a quick one hour wash cycle. I would suggest you hand wash delicate dishes if they have medal inlays or hand painted.
