If you paid for installation they will hardwire it. They told me they are almost always hardwiring dishwashers. Just got mine installed 2-23-24.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you install yourself or hire an electrician, yes. If you paid for instalation, they require you to have an accessible, grounded receptical, not behind dishwasher. Clearance under this dishwasher makes it difficult to disconnect/reconnect a hardwired install for servicing. I replaced a 25 year old Matag with this model, relocated the romex wire to cabinet under sink, surface mounted a GFI receptical, where machine is easily plugged in or unplugged from, instead of going to breaker box. Already found this very handy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this model and am very very happy with it after about a month even though our water was frozen for the last 6 days. It's super quiet and as an experiment we put in a dirty plate that had hardened nacho cheese on the plate with the rest of the dishes and it all came out spotless. SUPER QUIET! Ok to answer your question. There is a YouTube video for this model that helped me. My last dishwashers have all been hard wired. WARNING: If you do not turn off your breaker to your electrical outlet, if you have my situation, you are going to get to meet God and not worry about dishwashers anymore. TURN OFF THE POWER TO THE LINE FIRST! DON'T WAIT! DO IT! DO IT NOW! There is a terminal block on this model. My last dishwasher was like yours and was hardwired. All I had to work with was the electrical line sticking out of the wall. I crimped on a couple of ring terminals to the black and white wires and attached the bare copper ground wire to the green ground screw. The ring terminals allow you to screw the wires into the terminal block with the screws provided on the block. If you are not comfortable working with electrical or water hire this done. Also, I had to purchase a dishwasher install kit that had the correct hose ends at a hardware store. I didn't find what I needed at Lowes or Home Depot but you might for your situation. The installation video helped. Just look up your model number in the YouTube search bar. Hope that helps and don't kill yourself. You are likely needed in this world for quite awhile.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can't answer because we still don't have it because Best Buy screwed up the delivery and now we have to pick it up. Ordered on Jan 12 and was supposed to be installed Feb 17. Got a call telling me it was coming on the 17th then on the 17th I get an EMAIL asking me to call to reschedule. Not going to tell you what a nightmare that was - but we still don't have it as of today the 20th!!!!!! I can't even get anyone at the store to answer the phone. Sorry this isn't the answer you expected but I had to vent since Best Buy asked me a question about a product they can't even deliver!!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it actually doesn't include a cord. We replaced an older maytag with this one and it wires up the same. Easy to do.
