Jim, the ice bucket can hold about 2 to 4 pounds of ice and this can be made in 24 to 48 hours.

I had a Maytag previously and they kept good quality on the ice maker, but more flimsy on drawers. Quantity of ice keeps up pretty good with 4 people use. It replenishes pretty quick. I don't here much of a high pitch noise from compressor. The ice maker filling and dumping is noticeable, but I actuality like hearing that...I know it's working well. It's a no frills fridge. If you get a good deal on it seems worth it. I paid $1400.00 at Pacific Sales...On Sale.
