• Yes this machine does have an automatic water sensor and I do find that the tub fills with enough water to thoroughly clean your laundry. I know of one machine that does not have an automatic water sensor and the is a 3.6 cu ft Hotpoint top loader. The reviews that I have read on the Hotpoint washer is that the machine will not put in any hot water into the tub even when you set the water selector temperature to hot and a lot of reviewers also said they had to use super to put enough water in the tub to wash their laundry.
