I believe the length of the wash cycles are different depending on which load option is chosen, For example, bulky load with 2 rinse cycles takes much longer than hand wash with 2 rinses.

kfiegehen, the cycle times may vary due to the cycle and options selected. Per page 4 of the User Guide advises: Expect longer cycles times due to extended fill times when using the Deep Water Wash option. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you.
