My brand new Maytag MVSC565 does not seem to fully spin out all water on the heavy or sheets cycle. When I reset the dial to drain / spin to try and remove the excess water, the machine actualy adds water. Shouldn't a drain / spin cycle just drain? null

I agree I have notice that too, and the remedy is to wash just the sheets one set and for large comforter the same or select another wash cycle
