it don't. it will bang the sides loudly until you stop and rearrange or until it finally tears up the splutch assembly and the lid latch assembly and you will have to replace them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does. It idles to which I have to pause the machine and re balance the clothes around.. Opted to give it a try since I have always had a Maytag (older model was no longer in stock at Best Buy, (probably should have shopped around more) but don't really like this new model. (Best Buy if you can get me the previous model with ability to control my own size water load. I'll gladly give you this new one back, even trade). Don't see how it's energy efficient. Takes twice as long to wash, slow as molasses in winter, always sensing, don't know what. How does a washing machine take over an hour to do a load of clothes. Maytag, If it ain't broken don't fix..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello GRAMS4x, having an unbalanced load will not stop the washer but it will throw off the washer cycles and could cause leaking and not spinning correctly. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
