“The PICTURE instructions shows adding detergent straight into the washer. The WRITTEN instructions say to add to the detergent tray. Which is correct? I am using liquid HE detergent and would prefer to pour it in the washer rather than the tray.”

You can put H E powder detergent in the tub before adding clothes and H E liquid detergent in the tray.

Please try again later.Melisk, , reading your use and care guide the image shows: Add single-dose laundry packets, Oxi-type boosters, color-safe bleach, or fabric-softener crystals to the bottom of the washer basket before adding clothes. Liquid and powdered detergent will go into the dispenser drawer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you use something like Borax and put it in the tub before you add clothes make sure to dissolve it with warm water before you add it if you wash on cold. This is true of all machines.
