No audible signal, the little light simply stays on over the "completed".

However, if peace and quiet are your fortitude, the cycle 'timeline' does have LED lights to show you where it is in the wash timeline, and an 'end of wash' led on the far right of the timeline.

If you want quiet buy an Electrolux front loader or a Speed Queen top loader! Trust me, we replaced this (after two years) with a Speed Queen.
