my washer has locked. what do I do null

Ours did the same thing. We unplugged ours let the power die and plugged it back and and just waited. It went through a bit of a process but after about 15 min of running it unlocked itself. It's been good ever sense.

Hi ida955, you might be able to get the door unlocked if you unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for the washer. Let the unit sit unpowered for 2 - 5 minutes and then restore power. You may need to start a cycle, let it run a few minutes and then cancel it. If that does not do the trick, email us at Maytag_Digital@Maytag.com.
