I purchased the Maytag washer [Model: MHW5500FW SKU: 4978236] in the past month or so. The door was reversible. My son did it for me, and it was a bit more involved than it looks. However, there are some videos on YouTube that explain how to do it. Also, if you explain to your delivery crew, they should be able to do this. When you order your machine at Best Buy, you can also ask your sales rep to request that the door be installed a certain way. Good luck!
