MY THOUGHTS ARE NEVER TRY TO USE A NORMAL CYCLE TO WASH JEANS. I ALWAYS US THE DEEP FILL WATER LEVEL AND THE BEDDING CYCLE FOR HEAVY LOADS LIKE JEANS OR ANY HEAVY LOADS LIKE THAT OR REALLY DIRTY LOADS. VWHNE I DO EVERYTHING COMES OUT GREAT AND CLEAN. STUDY YOUR CCLES AND YOU WILL FIND THE COBINATION THAT WORKS FOR YOUR LOADS. YOUR SIMPLE CANNOT OVERFILL TIS MACHINE, CLOTHES HAVE TO HAVE ROOM TO MOVE.

Please try again later.I purchased 2 Maytags from Best Buy & returned BOTH, the WORST machines I ever had, didn't clean clothes, stuck up out of the water bc there was hardly any water in the tub, dirt & sand on jeans when they were done washing, washed so slow I could've washed them faster & better by hand! Good luck.
