• after you set the temperature you need, it uses a thermometer read out as the desired temperature is reached, and when it reaches the desired temp, a beep sounds

• Hello, the range does feature a tone to alert you when preheat is completed and the oven cavity is at the ideal temperature for you to open the door and insert your food.
