You can use it for the griddle, which comes with the stove. But I only used it once because you can't use any of the other burners if you are using the center burner. I would rather use the two left burners for my own griddle and keep the other 2 burners free for other things.

My range did not have the griddle that normally gets advertised with it, but I’ve used the middle burner with the griddle that comes with the range on other ranges to heat up things like tortillas, and cooking pancakes or bacon and eggs should be much easier with the griddle and the middle burner.
