“How much depth do you need to fit this dryer in a space. I see that the depth is 28", but how much more space do you need for the vent tube and cords? Our space is limited, and I think the washer they suggested would work, but this dryer may not fit.”

Hello Paul! Per the Installation Instructions we recommend at least 5 1/2" behind the unit. Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The area I have my dryer in is 34"L x 35 1/2"W. I took a picture of where mine is below but I don't know if you can tell. I hope this helps and I am sorry it has taken a month to answer this question. This dryer is awesome and I haven't had any issues with it in the 6 months that I have had it other than having to slam the door because it doesn't latch correctly.
