I love this dryer!! We had our last one for 12 years and it was the cheapest of the cheap model back then. I use to have to run the dryer twice to get them dry and a half of a basket of clothes would barely fit in it. This new Maytag dryer is amazing!! I love how fast it dries my clothes and I love that it senses when they are dry and will shut off. I also love that there's a light in the dryer!! I didn't know then when we purchased it! To my surprise when I first used it I noticed it. You don't think about those kinds of things and how helpful they really are until you have them! This dryer exceeded my expectations!! Well done Maytag!

Drys everything quickly but is the loudest dryer that I have ever had.

I love the dryer it has a light inside. Only thing I haven’t liked is the lint tray is on top.

This Maytag 10 year warranty dryer does an excellent job, the sensor setting gets the clothes dried just right but not over dried or under dried. When you go through a small learning curve, the sensor dry gets the clothes dried just right every time. It also helps very much not to mix light clothes and and heavy clothes in the same load, and also to not overstuff the dryer with too many clothes in one load as you have to have enough circulating heated air to get the clothes dried .If you follow some commonsense dry procedures most of the negative reviews will go away! It also helps very much to buy a Best Buy extended warranty on most expensive products as the 10 year warranty does not apply to all the parts, even though I have had good luck with Maytag products, Best Buy takes the worry out of dealing with a warranty issue if it were to arise in my past experience. Satisfied Maytag order in Texas!

Have had the dryer for a month. My first issue was the door opening the wrong way for my setup. Used to be a switch of the hinges was all it took. Not so with this given the shape of the opening. I did get it done but had to completely take apart the door (removing inner metal piece and turning other way) to get the door to open the other way. The sensor cycle leaves jeans and similar items a little damp. Otherwise, it dries the clothes as a new drier should. So nice after my 13 year old unit had to run 2 and sometime 3 times. Gotta be saving some electricity.

We have had Maytag products for over 25 years. In the early 2000's we upgraded our "old" ones with the Neptunes. Since that time, until a few months ago, never a problem. That dryer owed us nothing for as many years as we used it, but rather that having the repairman out every 2 to 3 months we decided to buy a new one. This review will almost be exact to my review of the matching washer. We actually purchased the front load washer and the matching dryer at first. We just didn't give a lot of thought how they would work in our upstairs "smaller" laundry room. They were beasts and it wasn't until we got them in there that we really noticed they were meant to be stacked. We went back to Best Buy and explained our situation. As usual, all of the staff in this store is wonderful, and with no questions asked, we started looking. Selected this set and the trade was done so easily. Now as far as the dryer goes, if is fabulous. The capacity is amazing and the actual drying of the clothes is wonderful. It is very quiet.

the Maytag dryer is great, My old dryer took so long to dry my large comforter but not this one. I love it and would recommend it. Ibought online and the Matthews, NC team delivered and set it up with professional. i will be ordering the Washer also.

Best value for our money does the job in good time. Energy efficient

As I bought this online and didn't see it in person I had no idea that the top isn't flat. That was a disappointment, you can't put anything on the dryer as it is a curved surface. Buttons take a little getting used to, they're smooth as opposed to clicking when you turn them. The inside is pretty darn big, my load of clothes looks lost in there! It drys well and overall I would recommend this product.

I picked this dryer after reading wirecutter reviews. It does its job, it's quiet and I have zero complaints! It's fast enough and big enough for all of our laundry loads. Happy I didn't decide to buy a more expensive model! I agree with other reviewers that the top slope is odd, but it's by no means a deal breaker and I can still put stuff on top of the dryer.

I purchased the Maytag HE top load washer and dryer as they were on sale for $469 each and they are Maytag. I set my dryer on the recommended setting, it senses when it is dry. Clothes come out perfect. There is even a light inside the dryer which helps when unloading. It is very quiet. I have the buzzer set to loud so that I can hear it upstairs. I love this set and am so happy I made the purchase through Best Buy!

The unit is quite compared to others we have had. We have had a good experience with the drying capacity.

Love it, love it! This replaced our 10+ year old dryer where it used to take two 60 minute cycles to dry one load. I am very pleased overall. I am getting used to the fact that the lint trap is on the top versus within the dryer door, but research states this configuration is more efficient. Additionally, I do think that appliances these days just aren't as high of quality as they used to me made, so it's give or take with new features vs. quality. The door seems a little flimsy and light weight and doesn't stay open when I need it to.

The dryer is easy to use, has enough options and dries very well and fast. It seems to be quality made. It also is big enough inside for a good size load that still has enough room to dry well.

Dries very fast. Quiet. Puts off some heat, but vents out on its own.

This is the perfect dryer. It was a replacement for a family of 7 and no joke this thing rocks. It even has an auto sensing wrinkle guard cycle. Ease of use and quiet.
