• Hello Vince: Cycle Signal: Use this to turn the signal indicating the end of a drying cycle on or off. Touch Cycle Signal to turn sounds on or off. Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.

• The "Cycle Signal" button on the display is the alert volume. When you press it, it makes a noise. Every time you press it, the volume changes. There should be 3 sound settings and off.
