QuestionI just bought a new dryer with steam option Will it hurt to run dryer without water hose installed right at first?? can I dry clothes without hose attached??

- Answer sirduke, you are able to run the Dryer without connecting the water hoses, you just will not be able to use the steam function. We hope this helps!

QuestionI saw an answer of 53 inches in height when stacking the units, however, both are 39 inches tall. Wouldn't this work out to about 78 inches tall?

- Answer Its about 53 inches per appliance when you add on the optional drawer unit. They appliances themselves are about 39 inches without the optional drawer.

- Answer Hi Mario, thank you for your inquiry. Venting can be reused, but we recommend that you make sure your existing venting is cleaned to allow the best air flow and drying performance.

- Answer Hi Rose, the MED3500FW required electrical supply is based on local Codes, 3- or 4-wire, single phase, 120/240 volt, 60 Hz, AC only electrical supply (or 3- or 4-wire, 120/208 volt electrical supply, if specified on the serial/rating plate) on a separate 30-amp circuit, fused on both sides of the line. Connect to an individual branch circuit. Do not have a fuse in the neutral or grounding circuit. Additional information can be found in the Installation guide: http://bit.ly/2khEj1K

QuestionWhat is the difference between Maytag 7.4 CU dryer MED5500FW and MED8200FW. Also with the washer MHW8200FW and MHW5500FW.

- Answer Hi GrooveBuilder, thank you for your inquiry. MED5500FW is offered with 10 drying cycles including a cycle for Casuals. MED8200FW has 9 drying cycles. Both units are 7.4 cubic foot capacity. As for the washers, MHW5500FW has four soil levels. Extra Heavy, Heavy, Light and Normal. MHW8200FW is offered with three soil levels. Heavy, Light and Normal. Both are 4.5 cubic foot capacity.
