A: UPDATE::: Best Buy was terrific. They replaced the dryer right away and the new one runs great and very quiet per most of the reviews. The installers are simply terrific- excellent customer service from the delivery company & Best Buy. Very happy with Maytag products.
A: They prefer that you do, unless you have insurance on the merchandise. the previous one we had the air vent dust was old and dirty. Unless you want no problems with your new one I will change that out. But the plug necessarily doesn't matter.
Q: Does this dryer come with a power cord? Why is there an option for installing a power cord?
A: I actually had to purchase a kit to make sure the dryer had the proper connection to my outlet.
