Bird, this Maytag® Dryer does require a Y connector, an inlet hose and a rubber washer for the steam function. Thank you for your interest in our Maytag Appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. Best Buy sold us a kit for it. You run the line from dryer to a Y shaped attachment and hook that into your mainline for cold water. Also connect your washing machines cold water to the other part of the Y. Both operate from there. I hope this makes sense. There are helpful videos online that will help you. We found one on YouTube. It took less then 30 minutes to get it done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It requires a hose kit. I like it much better than having to fill a reservoir. Since our machines are stacked, it’s much more convenient with the water hooked up directly to the machine.
