A:AnswerI just bought a Maytag dryer and you can't disengage the sensor. For Maytag to say "you may use the timed dryer cycle", sounds like they are giving me permission to use my own dryer! With this design option I am using electricity I don't want to if I am not at home or if it isn't convenient to remove the clothing when the cycle is finished. Very irresponsible of Maytag!!! I didn't realize Maytag was not an energy conscience company. I will never buy another Whirlpool or Maytag product.
