- Answer They have both versions. My unit is 110 v with gas. If you buy the Electric, it will be 220 v.

- Answer Yes, plug and play. I purchased the vent kit to go with, but the guys hooked it up and ran it immediately. It's amazing! Love it!

QuestionWe live in Austin Colony and the whole subdivision here has butane gas dryers. Can this Maytag dryer be converted to a butane. There are conversion kits for some dryers and I would have to hire a handy man for the job.

QuestionWhat is the installation and gas hook up charge? I presently have a gas dryer. What would be the removal charge for my old dryer? The old one works but is noisy and not energy efficient.. I would be receiving delivery from Roseville MN store.

- Answer It was like an additional 20$ for them to set up and take away the old dryer away. That shrieking noise is probably a bearing going out, very common.

- Answer My install was free, the kit with the lines and vent was about $30. Not sure how much to haul off the old ones, we kept ours to sell on in the community. $20 to move them, but I didn't pay it and then just gave the driver/delivery guy a fat tip...
